Serving the Community Under Christ
La Escuelita (Temporarily closed)
La Escuelita is a vibrant and nurturing after-school tutoring program dedicated to serving the children of Ocala’s farm-working families. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Through after-school academic support, and faith-based mentorship, we empower students with the tools they need for a brighter future.
La Escuelita is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00pm - 5:30pm
Mission
To provide a loving and educational space where children from farm-working families receive the academic and emotional support they need to succeed. By fostering a strong foundation in learning, faith, and community, we help shape confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.
Elementary students requiring extra help with their learning are welcome to stop in after school for individual help. Our computers are available for those that do not have one at home.
Vision
To see every child in our farm community equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and values necessary to reach their full potential. We envision La Escuelita as a place of opportunity, where education opens doors to a brighter future and a stronger community.
